The Arcade Creek Recreation & Park District and Twin Rivers Unified School District are proud to jointly offer a quality after school program at the Oakdale Elementary School through an ASES state grant.  This program includes homework help, art, drama, music, sports, games, science, visiting presentations and lots and lots of fun!

This FREE program is offered from 3:30 – 6:30 Monday –Friday each school day for Oakdale Elementary School students.  Students come directly from class to the program where they are given a snack and begin the daily program.

There is limited space available in this program.  For information on availability or the program, please call 482-8377.

Arcade Creek Community Interest and Satisfaction Survey

Looking for something fun to do during the holiday break?  Are you between the ages of 8 and 12?  Join us for fun at our Oakdale Site.   We will have loads of games, fun and activities including arts and crafts, scooter soccer, and more.  Sign up for one or both weeks.

 

Note: There is a minimum required to conduct this program.  If it is not reached, the program will be cancelled.  Students should bring water and a lunch.

 Join us for FREE Friday Family films  in the Oakdale Elementary School Gym.   We will be showing a  film each week  on our large screen complete with surround sound.  The movies are appropriate for all family viewing.  Bring your own chairs, sleeping bags, pillows, snacks etc or whatever you want to be comfortable.  

 Movies will begin at 7 p.m. and last approximately 2 hours.

Residents of the Holyoke neighborhood are requesting improvements at the Holyoke Nature Area. This area is located along Kohler Creek north of Myrtle Avenue by American River College.  We will hold community meetings this summer to see what kinds of improvements the neighborhood would like.
